Moving Back….

Months ago, I was able to mentioned here that, I’m planning to move back into my former shared bedroom with my younger sister. I actually tend to stay there for a while even before the makeover started. No one’s been constantly sleeping there for years now and until I finally decided to move back. Well, my sister and I used to sleep there when we were still kids until the time that our father was still alive. I’ve decided to sleep with my parents original room which was just almost next to it and I’ve stayed there for more than five years. I wouldn’t be able to think of moving back, if only I didn’t feel like that I need to have personal space and needs place where I could be able to focus on what I have to accomplished. If I’m not mistaken, it was around early days of December when I started to sleep there once again.

The walls and certain parts of the ceiling of the room was originally painted with pink. It’s not that I hate pink but it’s just that, I’m much into yellow. Obviously, I love yellow and it’s my favorite color too. I had to switch closet with my sister and it leads to sudden organization of all of the closets in our house. We were able to sort out its contents and only choose several clothes to keep while lending or throwing out others. They couldn’t find someone who could repainted the rooms and then, my mother eventually decided to just have ordered wallpapers online last December; which arrives few weeks ago. Also, after few days they were already able to found someone who could help out on repainting certain parts of our house. The repainting took two to three days before it reached the desired color which could suites within the wallpapers they bought and even, get rid of its smell. The application of wallpapers were also done afterwards which took up almost two days before the room was fully covered.

I then decided to arrange most of my teddy bears and other toys which I mainly got ever since I was still a kid; many were actually just given to me. I honestly didn’t include some of my childhood toys, more likely my dolls which are turned into something creepy. Moreover, I also hanged my bags, shoulder and backpacks into two different racks. Majority of them were also just given to me, just like my toys.

Aside from the table that I’ve got as a present for my 18th birthday last September, my mother let me used a wooden table which has a drawer and a cabinet to store things. She also let me used a wooden chair in which could be perfectly combined with the wooden table and a corkboard hanged on the wall. It’s where I decided to settle down my stationeries and other related things. Majority of the things I choose to place on the table were the ones, I often used and it’s obviously for an easy access whenever I have to use them. I then have my stocks put inside the drawer and have the other things kept inside the cabinet, including my 48 Faber-castell goldfaber color pencils. I also ended up using the wooden one as my main working table and have my other one placed nearside the door leading out of the room. It’s where I placed my watercolor papers , other paper supplies, 36 Faber-castell classic and watercolor pencils.

I ended having my acoustic guitar, flute and ukulele inside their bags before storing them on the floor beside the closet I’m currently using; somewhere nearside the door leading out of the room. Also, I arrange my books and other unused notebooks on a five-layer rack placed beside the double size bed I’m currently sleeping at, as of the moment. I have put my prayer booklets, rosaries and a frame of a religious image on the upper part of the rack. It’s actually just beside the area where I hanged my bags. I’ve also had some of my fan girl collections included there.

The curtain rods in the room were removed and instead, was replaced a mint colored blinds. It was also bought online which had only installed yesterday, including those racks for bags and even, the corkboard as well.

Honestly, I’m still not sure about how long the current set up of the room would last. There could be even more improvements to happen which only depends on my mother’s decision. It’s her and my father’s house anyway; I just have to work hard in order to have my own wherein I would be the only one to decide when it comes to majority of the happenings within. By the way, as it was shown in the photo above, I often bring snacks and stored candies on my working area; just in case I feel like of being drained and/or just simply hungry.

It’s almost ten in the evening here in the Philippines and I might watch few clips or read few articles before I finally get to sleep. I would might sleep around or at exactly ten perhaps, it just depends but I have to wake up early tomorrow; I have to accomplished school related activities once again and it might be the ones I would be doing until at night before I sleep. By the way, I already took my night shower earlier and wore my sleepwear. Don’t forget to pray and stay safe always, Goodnight! ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ
